Fun Run

9 AM Snow, COLD, Rain, Wind or Shine...!

This site is currently under construction - check back soon for more content!

2009's race dawned with temps of around 12 degrees. About 150 runners braved the cold... The ink pens were frozen solid and the stop watch stopped working about halfway through the race (yeah... it froze too!).  2008 wasn't much warmer...so prepare for a possible VERY cold run!

Run Information

The race forms a 3.5 mile loop along River's Edge Trail, starting and ending in West Bank Park. The course is mostly flat with slight hills near the bridges and the new dog park. The only place you cross the road is near the skate park. View the race map at  www.usatf.org/routes. There will be one water station along the way (at the dog park) unless the temperature is below 30. Race will be loosely timed.

Runners and walkers are welcome. Please no strollers, bicycles, skates, skateboards or dogs. There will be porta-potties available at the start on race day. And possibly several propane heaters to prevent frostbite.  :)~
